Qualifications for the Insurance Customer Service Account Manager:

Bachelor’s Degree is required
2-20, 4-40 license preferred or willing to obtain once hired
Insurance experience is a plus
Customer Service experience a plus – In financial or insurance services
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical skills
Works well in a fast paced environment
Very strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities for the Insurance Customer Service Account Manager:

Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
Generate sales leads
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Take the extra mile to engage customers
Process all transfers and audit requests’
