Job Description : Summary
As Inventory Manager, provides the support needed to lead, manage, and oversee the inventory team and has responsibility for all physical inventory in the store. Responsible for receiving, storing, converting, and proper disposal of packaged inventory. This position manages the flow of inventory throughout the store which includes visual (samples, displays, signage, menu boards), storage (product intake, vault, and preparation), and order fulfillment (picking inventory, expediting orders, and replenishing stock). Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local and state laws, regulations, and ordinances.

Responsibilities:

Leads, manages, and is accountable for the Inventory Team
Responsible for overseeing the receiving, storing, converting, and disposing of packaged inventory
Responsible for maintaining accurate packaged inventory and logs (including any state mandated inventory control system and/or programs designated by the Company)
Responsible for overseeing and managing front stock inventory, proactively identifying back stock for replacement
Responsible for ensuring floor displays, signage, and menus are accurate and updated
Responsible for ensuring orders are processed and fulfilled in an efficient and timely manner and staged in the appropriate area for the Teller Team
Responsible for communicating required bulk packaging and preroll needs to Vault Team
Responsible for communicating promotions to vault and inventory team and ensuring that promotion inventory is protected
Responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and organized inventory areas
Responsible for ensuring that all Inventory equipment is operational and accounted for
Responsible for maintaining inventory supplies and communicating supply needs
Responsible for opening and closing the dispensary
Responsible for coordinating with appropriate department personnel to resolve questions and/or issues
Responsible for providing administrative assistance as needed
Responsible for direction and delegation of tasks, as appropriate, to Inventory and Vault team

Supervisory Responsibility

Direct oversight of the Inventory team
Indirect oversight of Vault Team

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to carry, bend, stand, file documents, lift, and push/pull as needed
Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree or equivalent
1-2 years as an individual contributor in a retail environment.
Must be over the age of 21

Possess (or be able to obtain) and maintain an active agent card
Ability to complete and maintain ongoing education and professional development as needed
Commitment to adhere to all State and local medical and recreational cannabis regulations, statutes, laws, and guidance
Commitment to adhere to the SOP’s of the Company
Ability to handle high stress situations and busy atmosphere
Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
Ability to maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

Cannabis industry experience (retail preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years equivalent job experience
