Position : IT Customer Service Support Specialist
Job Description : Bluetree Practice Services is looking for an experienced IT Customer Support Specialist in Gresham, Oregon. One+ years of experience is preferred; computer certification is a plus. Salary DOE.
This position will be responsible for desktop support, basic network troubleshooting, and customer support of our main office and our dental practices, and will be able to work as part of a team or independently. Travel between offices will be required.
Primary responsibilities
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
Respond to emails or telephone queries either in person, by phone or by email as appropriate, and walk customers through solutions.
Ask pertinent questions to determine the nature of problems.
May train computer users either individually or in groups.
Maintain daily performance of existing computer systems and installed software.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Support VoIP telephone systems and telephones.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure all issues have been satisfactorily resolved.
Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
