Job Description : Information Technology is a detail-oriented, analytical, and professional position. Responsibilities include: computer operations, technical support, systems analysis, network administration, CCTV, and telecommunications. Our Information Technology Specialists are self-directed, motivated, have the ability to communicate in a professional manner with all levels in the organization. Information Technology Specialists are essential for supporting the daily operations of Check City and they must be reliable staff members who are committed to completing tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible and ensuring that all technological facilities are maintained to meet organizational needs. We are seeking candidates who share these qualities and have the desire to be part of a fast-paced, expanding, and dynamic organization!
Salary Range: 55,000-65,000 per year
IT SPECIALIST – ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:

Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
Maintain record of problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.
Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Read trade magazines and technical manuals, and attend conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of hardware and software.
Answer users’ inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
Repair and installation of IP phones/switches, Repair of CCTV DVR/Cameras, Imaging using Ghost or Microsoft WDS, installation of network switches and servers.
Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Other network and computer related duties as assigned by management as needed.

IT SPECIALIST – SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Understanding, Process Improvement, Data Processing, Reporting Research Results, Networking Knowledge, Presenting Technical Information, Written Communication, Operating Systems, Reporting Skills, Client Relationships, Documentation Skills.
Proficient in: Windows Server 2003 and above, Windows XP and above, computer hardware repair, Installation of OS and software, network management, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Management.
This position is responsible for maintaining all Check City locations and requires driving between company facilities. Employee must have a valid Nevada Driver License, and his/her own reliable transportation, and maintain valid Nevada automotive insurance coverage at all times. Must have a clear mind at all times to avoid causing injury and damage: e.g. to drive safely and to complete intricate, detailed work on IT systems correctly and safely.
IT SPECIALIST – PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift, move, carry and/or slide at least 62 pounds.
Must be able to climb up/down ladders, move ladders, and work with arms above head
Must be able to crawl under desks on side or back
Must be able to crouch, stoop, bend, stretch, and reach.
Must have above-average manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Must be able to focus intently for extended periods of time to troubleshoot and problem-solve complex matters related to company’s critical networks, servers, databases, security equipment, software systems, and PC’s.
