Job Description : Job Title : Field Service Technician
Location : Las Vegas, NV
Type : contract

Must have excellent communications and customer service skills, and demonstrate leadership and creative thinking.Must be able to provide own transportation.Provide quality customer and relations through use of customer management skills and other D1Employees.Diagnose machine performance problem.Installing, repairing and troubleshooting workstations, Printers, Scanners, Routers, & SwitchesInstalling and repairing Servers and Storage including Pure storage and HitachiTroubleshoot and installing in LAN-WAN environmentsProvide some desk side technical support for hardware and softwarePerform analysis to effectively identify potential problems to eliminate problems in the futureMaintain requisite technical competence to support the hardware and softwareInstall, move, add, and change hardware and related peripherals in accordance with the Change Management ProcessTaking appropriate actions to mitigate or eliminate hardware/software problemsHandle General Territory.Perform applicable preventative maintenance, per OEM specificationsWork with off shore and local users.

This is a Field Tech position where you will visit multiple sites a day around the Las Vegas area
We work on Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, POS and Printers
Would need to be trained on United Airline Printers and Kiosks
Trained on Epson printers (1 week in Columbus, Oh then 3 months later a second week)
Would need to be HP certified on laptop, desktop, tablets and printers (we provide the link – it takes about 60 hours paid by us)
Would need to be trained on Pure storage – about 30 hours
Once above training is done would be on call every third week
We average going out once per week (could be more or less)

Required Skills
A+, Net+, MSCE,
Required Education
High school/College/Military/Tech School/IT course
Required Years of Experience
2 plus years deskside support
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

Las Vegas, NV: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
Windows: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: One location
