Reports To The Junior Web Developer will report to Cyber Engineering Team Leaders.

Job Overview LEARN LEARN LEARN – We don’t have all the answers, neither will you, but you should be able to look them up and learn new concepts. We are of a growth mindset and as such we allow for this and provide learning support
. Junior Web Developer assists the Cyber Engineering team with website application development, backups, and maintenance. Maintain knowledge of the different adventure tours and rentals offered by SunBuggy at our several locations across the country to be able to confirm that the expectations we set for our guests with our online presence are accurate and timely.

Cyber-Engineering Department Does lots of interesting stuff, and will engage your help:

MySQL / PHP Driven websites and apps
Web-based app development for customer service, Rental support, and marketing
Complete website frameworks with OO code
Work with APIs from several different 3rd party app integrations, some established and others in development
Google Apps integrations, google workspace management
Analytics and online marketing tools such as Tag Manager for Google Analytics and Adwords
Assist with SEO reviews and refinements
Social Media API integrations
Come up with cool ideas to do NEXT LEVEL STUFF! (We believe in creativity and Innovation)
Assist with IT support (rebuild or update machines) We’re mostly cloud-based so not much to this part.

Qualifications The qualifications that are necessary for someone to fill this position.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain and foster cooperative and courteous working relationships with the public, peers, and supervisors.
High School Diploma and basic math competency to handle monetary transactions
Basic Proficiency at using a computer and beginner level or better in HTML and javascript. If you already understand SQL that’s a big plus, if not you will learn it working here.
Ability to communicate clearly over the phone, online, and in-person
Maintain a neat appearance (just don’t smell bad basically!), wear a company-provided T-shirt

Ability to work independently and as a team, organize and prioritize work, respond to varied and changing work demands, and make decisions as required.
Valid drivers license (there’s no bus line out here at the speedway

Junior Web Developer starting rate is $14/hour We do provide 40+ hours a week and can be fairly flexible.
Discounted health insurance is available after 60 days.
