Job Description : Job Description:
Concentric Methods is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Hamilton, MT in support of the NIH.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and QC RNA and DNA samples for sequencing.
Perform routine maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of Sanger sequencer, Illumina sequencers, and PCR instruments .
Perform quantitative PCR assays.
Assist in general lab duties, such as cleaning lab, stocking supplies, ordering reagents.
Keep detailed records of experimental procedures.
Assist customers with sequencing projects.
Perform a variety of laboratory experiments, such as Sterile technique, Pipetting, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, Plasmid purification, Tissue culture and/or bacterial culture, Media preparation, Restriction enzyme digestion, RNA/DNA purification, DNA/RNA spectrophotometry.
Maintenance records using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience.
Familiar with Bioinformatics/Sequence analysis, MS Office.
