Job Description : Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for collecting, washing and maintaining all hospital laundry and linen to provide patients, visitors, and staff with a safe and clean environment by maintaining standards of cleanliness, sanitatin and freedom from hazards and infections.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & ABILITIES:
Certification, Registration, or Licensure: None required.
Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: None required.
Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
