As a Barclays Learning Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for the delivery of New Hire programs across all sites relating to Customer Care, Fraud and Collections. You will work with operational stakeholders to ensure new colleagues are on track to meet the demands of the role. Through tracking and sharing KPI’s, monitoring trainer and program performance and providing feedback on the accuracy of the content being trained. By developing the team in line with the latest Learning Delivery methodologies.

What will you be doing?
You will be accountable for the training element of the recruitment process; includes approval of when and where a class can occur, assigning rooms and learning advisors, tracking the metrics of the class through the 5-week training program and through the 3-month speed to competencyYou will be responsible for the performance of Learning Advisors across a remote geographic footprint through assessing Learning Advisor metrics and KPI’sEnsuring ongoing success through the accreditation and cross-skilling of new Learning Advisors joining the teamProviding development internally through structured observations and 121 sessions with each member of the Learning Delivery teamExecuting on the strategic and tactical plans for delivering a world class Learning Delivery teamTaking strategic responsibility for the delivery of accurate new hire programs at all sites, captive and supplier
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in adult learning theory, instructional design, organizational development, business administration or relevant experience or Equivalent Learning management experienceThorough understanding of learning and development strategies and tactics, including needs assessment, program/content development, methods of delivery and program evaluationDemonstrated skills in a variety of training methods, to include classroom, virtual learning, eLearning, and blended solutions
Skills that will help you in the role:
Knowledge of training modes, methods and learning stylesExperience in Project and Program ManagementAble to co-ordinate and prioritize activitiesAble to think analytically, analyze data and extract key messages
