Job Description : LIFEGUARD
We are hiring!
Why join Team Venetian?Your ultimate pool day awaits with a renovated pool deck situated over two acres. The newly renovated deck includes four large pools, three of them infinity. A splash pad, in pool ledge loungers, and daybeds in the center of the pools combine to create a contemporary, luxurious oasis. Enjoy the heated pools all winter long.
What type of work will you be doing?Responsible for the supervision of monitoring pool conditions, and ensuring all safety protocols are being followed.
What kind of shifts/hours are available?We have a range of program hours and do our very best to provide scheduling flexibility dependent on your availability and where we need the most support.

Potentially 40 hours per-week during the summer season (March-November)
Work hours may vary and include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and/or split shifts

Where will you work?
Work locations and assignments are subject to change and are based on department needs. You may be assigned to Palazzo’s heated pools or Venetian’s four large pools, three of them infinity.
What about COVID-19?If hired, you are required to be fully vaccinated. Follow all Venetian / Palazzo’s COVID-19 safety policies, procedures, and practices like social distancing, washing your hands, and sanitizing works areas.
Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must possess basic lifeguard training and certification, as well as any other license or certificate as required by Venetian’s policy.
Prior experience as a Lifeguard or other aquatic safety positions are highly desired and helpful in this role.
Working knowledge of first aid for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services personnel take over.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
