Position : Manager/Gas Control & Dispatch Support

Job Description : The Manager/Dispatch & Gas Control Support Staff takes an active role in defining, developing, and directing the strategic support functions for Dispatch and Gas Control. With a primary goal of ensuring the safety of people, property, and pipeline operations, this position manages objectives by providing leadership and systematic support through a variety of roles. The position is responsible for providing guidance and expertise within department training/quality programs, resource management functions, and control room management compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires seven to ten years of progressive work experience, as well as broad knowledge within operational disciplines and industry business practices. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering or a related technical/business discipline is preferred.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Essential Job Responsibilities

Lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional stakeholders/leadership levels, deliver business value through process standardization, technology enhancement, and best practice implementation that supports operational performance
Serve as a department operational liaison to Divisions, Staff and Senior Leadership, offering analysis and recommendations on emergency response and safe control room pipeline operation
Ensure focused continuous improvement within Dispatch/Gas Control support efforts through a motivated support team, transparent communication, and leadership
Develop and execute short and long-range planning/work process reviews to achieve approved goals for the department and Company
Ensure compliance with respective state and federal compliance regulations such as Control Room Management; Maintain a knowledge of the regulations
Manage and provide oversight of quality assurance functions and training programs within Dispatch and Gas Control; maintain and continuously improve the effectiveness of such programs
Partner with key stakeholders to enhance resource management forecasting, identify and maintain key variables that impact emergency response and customer appointments
Collaborate with key Information Services stakeholders, engage ongoing assessment/evaluation of technology that supports existing business needs and future enhancements.
Provide technical assistance to operating Divisions on special projects, procedures, or business process
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

Salary Details
$95,085 – $118,856

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) under Title 49 CFR Part 382 and Part 40. Any applicant/employee who performs a DOT covered function or is licensed and would operate a commercial vehicle for the Company will be subject to drug and alcohol testing under the Company’s DOT drug and alcohol testing programs. Any employment, transfer, or promotion offer made for this position is contingent upon taking and passing a drug test prior to the commencement of the new role. If an applicant/employee fails the drug test, any offer of employment, transfer, or promotion will be revoked
