Job Description : Job Title: Material Handler
Reports To: Logistics Supervisor
Department: Accounting
Location: Winnemucca, NV
Position Summary
This position is responsible to load and unload trucks for third party freight companies, organize material as it comes into the yard, when it is ready to stage for a job and as it leaves the shop, as well as obtaining parts from vendors in town and delivering packing slips to purchasing for receipt.
Responsibilities:
Unload inbound shipments in a timely fashion.
Organize material in the yard.
Stage material for jobs.
Palletize/prepare material for shipment.
Load outbound shipments.
Manage consumable inventory
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform work following all required safety protocols including use of proper PPE for assigned tasks required.
Knowledge of operating a forklift.
Ability to handle multiple assignments while prioritizing workflow required.
Ability to uphold all company policies required.
Ability to work as a team to accomplish objectives.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit and kneel on uneven ground or in enclosed spaces.
