We seek a Materials Management Representative PRN for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. The Materials Management Representative will act as a resource individual to coordinate the daily activities of requisitioning in order to meet the procurement demands of the hospital and the off-site facilities. This position will work in concerted effort with the departmental staff to provide for the timely acquisition and distribution of stock and non-stock supplies, equipment, and services. Assuring compliance with established corporate contracts is a primary responsibility of this position.
The Materials Management Representative will also be responsible for performing other functions related to Materials Management for ancillary units such as the delivery of supplies and nutritionals, establish order precedence, prepare and submit requisitions, run and follow-up on items on the outstanding receiving report (OREC) and expedite overdue critical orders, assist efforts towards contract compliance, vendor control, conduct consignment reconciliations, assist in preparing and conducting inventory, generate and submit CDM, PAR, and VIRA requests, prepare and submit repair orders and return/credit requests, etc.

Qualifications
EDCATION:

High School Graduate or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three years experience in a medically related supply position in a hospital setting
Prior experience with computerized inventory control systems preferred
