We are seeking experienced, compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistants to expand our impressive Medical Assistant team!
Northern Nevada HOPES is a nonprofit community health center in downtown Reno, NV that offers integrated medical care and wellness services. Position Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to physicians, advanced practice clinicians and their patients.
Perform a combination of administrative and clinical tasks within the healthcare setting.
Assist with delivery of high quality, evidence-based care to patients.
Support the multidisciplinary team, provide education and resources and take an active involvement with patients to ensure optimal wellness.
May lead a team, oversee a program or provide education which contributes to HOPES’ mission in ways other than patient care.

Position Requirements:

Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
Significant experience as a Medical Assistant required.
Computer literate required
Certified or registered Medical Assistant preferred. Will be required to complete RMA testing within 6 months of hire.
Prior experience with target population preferred.
Possess a great attitude, passion for learning, commitment to helping others and excellent customer service.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
