Position : Office/HR Manager

Job Description : The Office/HR Manager is a dual-role involving full spectrum human resources and office management responsibilities. This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level in the following HR functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment / employment and employment law compliance. The office manager component of this position is responsible for overall office activities to include HR, assisting the CEO, purchasing and general facilities/management of the building. Handle timesheets, HR related matters for remote locations.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is just as comfortable working autonomously as with a team. This candidate should be corporate culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm to the office.

Assist CEO as needed with appointments, correspondences.
Organize office operations and procedures, purchase supplies and arrange for maintenance; Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord. Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers.
Place advertisement for job openings, perform reference verification, process new hires.
Maintain a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; schedule and conduct job evaluations; monitor and schedule individual pay actions; recommend, plan and implement pay structure revisions.
Plan and monitor appraisal of employee work results by following up with manager(s) to coach and discipline employees; Resolve employee grievances; counsel employees as needed.
Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits. Direct the processing of benefit claims; obtain and evaluate benefit contract bids;
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conduct investigations; maintain records; represent the organization at hearings.
Maintain management guideline; Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures. Maintain human resource records
Maintain administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintain human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Perform other assigned duties

Experience:
5- years combined human resource and office management experience preferred
Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations
Working knowledge of office processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
