Job Description : Job Description: This position oversees the operations critical to the effective function of the SelectHealth Nevada regional office. This includes the oversight of a full range of functions, projects, processes, quality improvement initiatives and facilities management. This position assists the SelectHealth Nevada Market President in the development, management, and achievement of budgetary and financial objectives. It also oversees the interface and coordination of local partnerships and supports broker and member satisfaction.
This position acts as an HR liaison, supporting caregiver engagement by providing a meaningful onboarding experience and supporting effective training, education, and implementation of caregiver initiatives. The position works closely with members of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal efficiency and highest value of service. This position works autonomously with limited supervision and direction.
Scope This position reports to SelectHealth’s AVP Chief of Staff. It works with complex, confidential, and sensitive information requiring considerable discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy as well as a practical knowledge of practices and procedures, general company policies and programs.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT: Serves as the primary contact for the SelectHealth Nevada office. Effectively interacts with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization and community, providing superior service consistent with policies and company values. Assumes ownership in planning, organizing, implementing, and accomplishing ongoing functions to accomplish goals. Creates presentations including content, scripting, sequencing, and aesthetics for use with a variety of internal and external audiences. Maintains a complete knowledge of office procedures. Oversees all administrative functions. Delegates assignments and ensures work is completed. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures pertaining to regulatory requirements of Intermountain. Manages projects including developing timelines, creating associated budgets, monitoring and reporting progress, and ensuring successful outcomes. Ensures optimal maintenance of facility. Independently investigates problems identified by the team and recommends solutions. STEWARDSHIP: Identifies process improvements in office organization and workflow. Manages projects for Community Relations and Community Stewardship initiatives. Ensures accurate submission of payroll information. Budget Accountability: Works with the General Manager to develop, maintain, and monitor operating budgets. Demonstrates cost-effective use of resources by taking appropriate action to meet financial performance goals. Oversees accounts payable, billing, and purchasing processes according to policy. MEMBER EXPERIENCE: Provides information to members according to policy. Resolves member service concerns with empathy and efficient follow-through. Ensures work assignments are prioritized and completed correctly and efficiently. Tactfully handles difficult situations with plan members and caregivers while remaining positive and professional. When needed, escalates issues to the appropriate caregiver. GROWTH: Interfaces with Brokers and supports agent training and seminars. Partners with sales team to ensure adequate ordering and stocking of sales and promotional materials for open enrollment for each market segment. ENGAGED CAREGIVERS: Acts as the Human Resource liaison for caregivers by effectively supporting the execution of training, education, recognition, and implementation of caregiver engagement initiatives. Effectively on-boards and orients new caregivers. SAFETY: Oversees safety protocols and Business Continuity. Conducts training and plans reviews as required. Develops and executes visitor check-in system, ensuring office safety and security. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. (Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified. )
Five years of office administration or customer service experience.
Three years of demonstrated leadership experience.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, which includes complex formatting, mail merge, formulas, creating charts and graphs, data manipulation, creating and running reports, creating presentations, and using multimedia content, trouble shooting and teaching others.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in budget development and management.
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information. – and – Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, including manipulating paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. – and – See and read computer monitors and documents. – and – Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
