Job Description : OPEN HOUSE JOB FAIR THIS WEEK. INTERVIEWS ON THE SPOT BETWEEN 10 AM-2 PM DAILY through Saturday 3/12.
Title: Banquet Server /Setup
Department: Reflection Bay Golf Club
Reports To: Venue Event Coordinator/ Catering and Event Sales Manager/ Director of Events
Banquet Server Responsibilities

Assisting with Event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, tablecloths, place settings, and buffets.
Greeting guests as they enter the venue and helping them to find their seats.
Seeing to the comfort of guests through answering questions, taking orders, conveying special instructions to the kitchen and bar, and serving food and beverages.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Present in professional appearance and mannerisms
Read a BEO (Banquet Event Order) and interpret how to set up and schedule the event for completion.
Move tables, chairs, couches, podiums, audio/video equipment, dance floors, staging, grills, pop-up tents and any other equipment required for a function.
Communicates with the Catering department for information on changes in events, and adjusts as necessary.
Establish and maintain an inventory of all special equipment.
Break-down and re-set banquet rooms according to the demands of the Club.

Educational/Experience Requirements

Experience as a server is preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs and carrying heavyweights.
Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
Southern Nevada Health Department Food Handlers card
TAM (Alcohol Beverage Awareness) card

Able to succeed both personally and professionally.

· Responsible and trustworthy
Physical Work Conditions

Requires both indoor and outdoor work.
Exposure to extreme cold, heat and humidity and bright sunlight.
Knowledge of various types of food service, beverage service and setup configurations
Strong communications skills both verbal and written and exceptional organizational skills.
Able to move chairs, tables, table-tops, pianos, carpeting, etc., as required by the needs of the Club.
Able to lift up to 75 – 100 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.
Able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
