Position : Pediatric Receptionist
Job Description : Busy Pediatric Medical office seeking experienced and versatile FRONT OFFICE MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
Adherence to HIPAA guidelines
Answering phone calls
Scheduling appointments
Maintaining patient medical records
Working with insurance companies and checking and verifying insurance eligibility
Collect patient’s health information
Preparing patients for examinations
Prior Authorizations
Co-pay and co-insurance calculation and collection
Patient check-in and check-out and must be able to communicate and provide correct documentation to the billing office
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Manual dexterity to use/handle equipment and instruments.
Computer literate (i.e., logging on to computer, usage of keyboard and mouse, familiarity with Windows and email applications and EMR).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to concurrently perform multiple tasks.
Possibility of travel between 2 locations.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians and administration. Must be dependable, reliable and pay attention to detail.
Pediatric Office experience a must!
Currently lives in Las Vegas is a must!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
