Job Description : NEVADA LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL BUREAU AUDIT DIVISION
PERFORMANCE AUDITOR
The Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Performance Auditor. The LCB is the full-time, central, nonpartisan staff agency that provides professional, technical, and administrative support to the Nevada Legislature.
Position Description: The Performance Auditor performs objective analyses of Nevada agency operations to improve effectiveness, economy and efficiency, or internal controls. Initially, this position will function as an assistant under the direction of an in-charge auditor. With experience, this position will serve as the in-charge auditor on performance audits responsible for all phases of the audit, and may include supervising staff.

You Like Variety:

Individual audit assignments last about 6-12 months.

Some audits require travel to Reno, Las Vegas, and rural areas of Nevada.

You Have Obtained:

CPA, CIA, or a Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
If not, you will need to demonstrate the ability to obtain one of these certifications during the 1st year of employment.
