Job Description : VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: MGM Resorts now requires that all new hires who do not exclusively work from home to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before beginning work effective August 30, 2021 (excluding hourly employees for properties located in Mississippi or New Jersey).

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the primary responsibility of the Pit Clerk to assist the Table Games Department by completing tasks that aid in the operations of the gaming tables. It is the responsibility of the Pit Clerk to deliver on our company’s brand by using our SHOW Guest Service standards with all customers and coworkers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interact with guest and coworkers using our SHOW service standards
Patron Management – Creation and updating of accounts, printing Mlife cards, scanning customer ID’s, entering manual ratings and entering comps
Pit Transactions – Assist Table Games with all marker functions, securing markers and during system downtimes assist Table Games
Title 31 – Monitor and report cash transactions using our Title 31 system, verify reporting requirements are on file
Assist Table Games with the completion of error notifications
Answer phones in Pits
Assist IT Department in the maintenance of all equipment
Perform other job-related duties as requested

SUPERVISION:

None

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

Six (6) months data entry experience
Excellent customer service skills

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Nevada Gaming Registration

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Ability to sit/stand for long periods
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
