Schedule is: Mon-Thur, 4am-2:30pm

Fill, lift (up to 50 pounds), stencil and stack bags of diatomaceous earth on pallet up to seven-foot-high per customer requirements by performing the following duties. Subject to temporary duty in other departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Setup proper weights on packers according to work instructions from Supervisor.
Setup robotic stacker to receive product from packers according to work instructions from Supervisor.
Monitor and adjust packers for correct bag weights.
Turn “On” proper blowers to corresponding packer for product flow.
Operate vibrators on packers for efficient product flow.
Ensure proper package and pallet are used per work instructions from Leadman.
Fill, lift (up to 50 pounds), and stack bags of diatomaceous earth on pallet up to seven feet high.
Stencil or tag packages as outlined by written or verbal production schedules and work instructions.
General plant cleanup, including but not limited to, sweeping with push broom and vacuuming warehouse floors, cleaning hoppers and taking waste to the landfill.
Picking up trash on plant property
Painting with a paint brush, roller or sprayer
Cutting or pulling weeds
Operating the water and/or dump truck
Spotting empty trailers at loading docks with yard truck
Moving loaded trailers from loading docks to trailer yard
Conducting cycle counts (physical inventory) of finished products and raw materials
Filing paperwork for production
Collecting samples from the production process areas
Operating a forklift for the maintenance, production and shipping departments
Conducting safety audits (looking for unsafe conditions or unsafe acts)
Help safety manager prepare safety training and present training to other employees
Attend extra training classes
Capable of working in high places and confined spaces

QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES
Education / Certifications: High School education or GED equivalent
