Position : Preschool/ Early Childhood Education Administrator/ Assistant Director
Job Description : The Child Garden Preschool at 455 Hill St is currently looking for an administrator/ assistant director to add to our amazing preschool team. Job responsibilities include: keeping records, maintaining computer systems, stepping in to classrooms to assist lead teachers, giving tours, answering phones, among many other things. We want someone that wants to develop deep roots in a center and stay for a long period of time. We are currently looking for a self-motivated, reliable, nurturing, loving, and friendly person to add to our amazing staff. Full Time hours Monday through Friday.
Requirements of Administrator/ Assistant Director of Preschool:
2 years of lead teaching in preschool setting preferred.
Must be proficient in computer programs including: word, excel, powerpoint, publisher.
Must be able to do basic math and handle tuition payments.
Must be able to obtain a sheriffs card which is a background check looking for any drug, alcohol, or child abuse related charges.
Initial Training Required Within the First 90 Days of employment:
CPR/First Aide
Communicable disease training
SIDs training
Signs of Blood-born Pathogens
Along with other training.
Pay is hourly and based on experience and education. Full Time employees also receive paid holidays and free tuition for one child if there is availability for age group.
