Comprehensive Eyecare Partners (CEP) is seeking a Procurement Specialist The procurement specialist will assist in developing and supporting the procure-to-pay process, using the companys spend management system; Hybrent Intelligence. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the daily operations for Hybrent, under the supervision of the Director of Procurement and Real Estate, while also providing integration and project support as needed.
Compensation is commensurate with level of experience, skills, and education.
Essential Duties:
Responsible to provide the day-to-day software support and training to internal procurement stakeholders using the Hybrent procurement software
Monitors and responds to internal help desk e-mails
Develops and creates procurement workflow(s) and training documentation for the company
Manages all products, pricing, and attribute information in the enterprise item mater and in all subsequent facility catalogs, with a focus on the formulary consolidation of product SKUs, contracts, and vendors.
Communicates with vendors and internal, procurement stakeholders for all product allocation efforts, product rejection(s) and product substitution(s) issues, etc.
Identifies opportunities for implementation of cost savings and process improvements
Manages user access, facility access, department codes, cost codes and security permissions for all Comp-EyeCare staff in Hybrent
Provides formulary reporting on products, pricing, contracts, facilities, suppliers, and manufacturers, etc.
Monitors purchase order and invoice compliance through their full lifecycle
Attends conference calls and meetings to represent the procurement department, as requested
Reports on all aspects of procurement compliance on a routine basis; both at an enterprise level and facility level
Assists with the aggregation of facilities into corporate enterprise agreements
Maintains all procurement directories and rosters for the department
Works open projects, as defined by Director of Procurement and Real Estate
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
Must be highly proficient in MS Applications (Word and PowerPoint Presentations)
Intermediate abilities to manipulate large sets of data using MS Excel formulas and functions; (Lookup formulas, financial formulas, math functions. conditional functions, pivot tables etc.)
Ability to import, export, map, sync and validate data sets from multiple sources into a single destination
Strong teaching and mentoring experience with the ability to prepare technical training documentation
Advanced teaching and training skillset to provide individual and remote group training
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
Ability to develop concise and meaningful reports/presentations and communicate findings professionally with all levels of management
Excellent written and oral communication skills

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years experience as a procurement professional or related position
Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred, particularly in a non-acute setting
Self-directed, organizes and prioritizes work and manages multiple tasks and assignments. Manages time well and performs assigned duties with attention detail, accuracy, and follow-through with minimal supervision.
Deals with confidential information in a professional manner. Skilled at working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, team environment.
