Position : Production Manager (JO-2203-154161)
Job Description : Seeking an experienced Production/Distribution Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing, packaging, and shipping of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of production and distribution lines and the quality of output. The goal is to ensure efficient and productive manufacturing and distribution processes that meet our customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the production process, drawing up a maintaining a production schedule as required.
Ensure that the production is cost effective.
Decide what resources are required.
Draft timescales for projects.
Estimate costs and set the quality standards.
Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed – communicate these changes as required.
Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.
Work with different departments, e.g., suppliers, managers.
Work with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals.
Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
Review worker performance.
Identify training needs.
Maximize the production process to lower costs.
Cross-train worker teams for maximum production flexibility.
Contributes to team effort by supporting other roles within the company as and when needed.
