Position : Production Supervisor

Job Description : Your Day-to-Day

Supervise, train, and provide direction to the shift production team
Maintain and enforce good housekeeping
Ensure production team understands/complies with established operating systems in safety, environmental, quality and process controls and the company’s overall policies
Utilize key operating indicators for control of product cost, material usage, machine downtime, expenditure control and other shift functions
Develop and maintain a respectful workforce
Transmit production performance data/statistics/concerns via electronic information systems (Excel, ERP) and make recommendations for/lead improvement efforts.
Transmit key production performance statistics/concerns to the production shift leads, maintenance, and Superintendent and make recommendations for improvement
Investigate root causes/issues that are related to scrap, process excursions, quality complaints and/or fire investigations
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team

High School diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of production processes
Strong aptitude for learning
Strong Leadership Skills
Strong understanding of conflict resolution
General understanding of OSHA regulations (VPP is a plus)
Working knowledge of SAP or ERP Systems
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Intermediate computer experience including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Strong Communication Skills (written/verbal)
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in Employee Development
Basic math plus algebra and statistics

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.32 per hour
