Position : Project Manager – Culinary Health Center

Job Description : The Project Manager provides a wide range of project management and operational support and assists in the administration and coordination of a variety of project management functions including planning, budgeting, organizing, research and delivery of services. Assignments may be with existing departments or entities of the organization that are part of due diligence process.

Minimum Education: • Bachelor’s degree in business, management discipline, or equivalent experience. (Combined education/experience may substitute for minimum education). Master’s degree preferred. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience of directly related project or administrative experience and responsible positions and demonstrated professional experience at a similar level of complexity (preferably including responsibility for multiple or major projects management, knowledge in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns and formulate recommendations). • Experience in leading, facilitating and implementing new programs and/or projects • Ability to conduct complex analysis of administrative organization, policies, procedures, practices, and cost-benefit studies. • Provide administrative reports and analysis in support of the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations as appropriate. • Demonstrated experience in organizing and defining tasks, setting priorities, working independently, and following through with minimal direction in order to perform effectively under conditions of frequent interruptions, fluctuating workloads, and conflicting time demands. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material with discretion. • Communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide variety of constituents to include: patient and family, staff, faculty, alumni, business, political and community leaders and the general public is essential. • Advanced skill in computer programs, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc. requiredTwo years experience in an acute care setting (immediately prior to application strongly preferred). Required License/Certification: • Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
