Position : Property Manager

Job Description : Professional Property Management firm seeking qualified candidates for the position of Resident Manager. This is a full-time position that is based at one of our apartment complexes in Las Vegas, NV.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience managing Section 42 tax credit Programs and Project Based Section 8.
Key aspects of the job include:
Responsibilities

Perform all community-manager duties of a Tax Credit/Section 8 property.
Ensure financial performance of this asset through adherence to budgeted financial goals
Field inquiries from applicants and residents directly related to income and asset eligibility, legal rents and property-specific compliance requirements.
Manage resident Tax Credit/Section 8 re-certifications in a timely manner.
Oversee capital needs and daily ongoing maintenance needs of the property including maintenance staff

Desired Skills

Experience as a successful manager of Tax Credit/Section 8 properties.
High achiever with exceptional stamina, proven leadership ability and high levels of positive energy to motivate and guide staff towards goal attainment
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to self-motivate.
Excellent written/verbal communication and people skills.
Computer literate – experience with One Site, Yardi, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and using the Internet to troubleshoot problems.
Ability to partner with diverse communities, establish procedures and train staff.
Possess an inherent philosophy where vacancy and operational inefficiency is believed to be unacceptable.
The ability to perform accurate mathematical computations
High level of customer service with the ability to resolve applicant and resident issues
C3P Tax Credit, Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) or similar designations preferred.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $46,000.00 per year
