Job Description : QUALIITY ASSURANCE LAB
Damon Industries is searching for rock stars! We are an established and growing beverage manufacturing company looking to increase our staff. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn and grow with the company. We will train you!
Basic Function: The quality assurance position will work with the production team for lab testing of products to ensure that products are made according to quality and food safety standards. The quality assurance technician will also work on product development, creating R&D samples and formulas. This position will also ensure and/or perform cleanings and make sure they are completed according to sanitation schedule of food production equipment and lab.
Day-to-Day Tasks May Include:
Behave in a manner consistent with Damon’s core values of Family, Integrity, Fun and Gratitude
Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality checks
Cleaning and maintaining work areas and instruments
Keeping lab work area clean and organized to meet high standards of food safety
Conduct cleaning activities for warehouse and production room
Analyze samples using specified methods
Analysis with lab equipment and organoleptic testing (taste, smell, appearance) on all batches to ensure internal specifications are met
Work to develop new products and mix samples in the lab to test internally and ship to clients
Any other duties as assigned
Compliance:
Comply with good manufacturing practices
Appreciations:
Computer experience including MS Word and Excel
Experience in food industry service
Sample testing

Working Conditions: Warehouse environment, which can be noisy and hot or cool.
