We are looking for an experienced construction professional who brings the ability and energy to manage our job sites and trade partners. We need an adaptable, personable, and proactive team leader to own this position. This is a field production position in Cedar City, Utah
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the daily management of all on-site operations of a new, fast-paced, high-end, single family detached, residential subdivision, in Cedar City, Utah. You will be directing trade partners during the construction of multiple concurrent homes on-site and during the buildout of the development’s phases.
Responsibilities
Manage day to day trade partner scheduling and field oversight
Work closely and effectively communicate with the sales team
Lead team with project planning and developing site logistics
Ensure jobsite safety is maintained
Ensure jobsite is kept clean and organized
Proactively identify and solve problems
Ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget and with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications
Coordinate and supervise all construction activities
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Superintendent or Lead in a residential subdivision preferred
Highly organized and self-motivated
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
Ability to read and understand all aspects of building plans
Technical understanding of residential construction including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices
Ability to gather information, prepare reports and communicate
Capable of problem solving and dealing and experience with complex detailed projects
Comfortable using all aspects of technology and software
