Position : Scheduling/Call Center
Job Description : We are looking for a Call Center Representative that will be the liaison between our company and its current and potential patients. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving patient issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping patient satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.
Responsibilities
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Build sustainable relationships and engage patients by taking the extra mile
Enter patient demographics quickly and accurately into our EHR system.
Verify insurance for all new patients prior to scheduling.
Verify any referrals/authorizations have been obtained prior to scheduling.
Schedule patient follow-ups appropriately in our system.
Skills
Previous experience in a customer support role
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Familiarity with EHR systems and practices
Patient focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
