Job Description : Las Vegas Lights FC Seasonal Positions – Multiple Departments

(Internship / Work Experience Program)

Under the direction and guidance of Lights FC Executives, the Program provides individuals with the unique opportunity to gain practical sports management experience in a professional sports team setting. By working on various strategic projects and initiatives, participants will gain hands on work experience.

Participants are tasked with and responsible for working within specialized departments but will interact with all departments across the team including: business development, ticketing, communications and digital strategy, game day operations and more, with the ultimate goal of providing a well-rounded practical work experience in sports.

Operations & Business Analytics responsibilities and duties:

Assist with lead generation, lead scoring, and evaluation of all sales and marketing campaigns
Identify new customer segments that would enhance revenues and drive growth; includes doing analytical research and building fan profiles
Assists with compiling and evaluating historical and current sales data and demographics
Build and structure consumer insight surveys from start to finish.
Creating systems and structures to house and maintain data.
Analyze large data sets to determine relevant trends and significant data points.
Build mass email communications and surveys analyze interaction metrics.
Research best practices for data analysis.
Contribute to CRM and data analytics initiatives across the sales and marketing departments.
Other duties as assigned.

On-Site Ticket Sales and Operations responsibilities and duties:

Interns will be required to work office hours during the week, on gamedays, event days and other select evenings. Over the course of the internship, you will be expected to learn the ticketing system, process orders, mail out internal orders, manage will call, handle customer service inquiries at the window, reconcile sales reports, operate the team store, and assist with various departmental projects/needs as assigned.

Game and event days may include: providing customer service to fans while assisting with all aspects of ticket operations from ushering to selling tickets to supervising, handling various forms of payment and completing settlement reports at the end of shifts, and supporting all other game day staff as needed.

Graphic Design responsibilities and duties:

Assist with all graphic design needs which include but are not limited to creating print ads, flyers, posters, social media graphics, scoreboard graphics, signage, etc.
Assist in game-day graphics which include headshots, promotional graphics and assist in the control room
Assist with website design.

Production Team responsibilities and duties:

Produce/edit video & graphic content for Games. Content will include but is not limited to video features, player features, social media content, sponsor content, marketing flyers, video board content, promotional videos, interview segments, green screen content & motion graphics.
Plan & coordinate capturing various events by compiling interviews, sound bites, b-roll & other visual materials to tell the story through dynamic content.
Organize & maintain audio, video, graphics & logos within production libraries.
Execution in various in-game production roles including camera operator, audio controller, video board operator, technical director, and replay operator.

Game Day Operations

Duties associated with this position include:

Interaction with fans and providing a first-class match day experience.
Assist in the fulfillment of corporate sponsorships.
Coordinate with match day volunteers.
Coordinate and execute halftime entertainment.
Event set up and break down.
