Position : Showroom Supervisor – Full Time (Bally’s)

Job Description : To Supervise and monitor the quality of service to customers attending shows/events in entertainment venues and assist in shows/events preparation and conclusion. Responsible for supervision of the entertainment showroom host team during all showroom and theater performances ensuring operational efficiency and the highest level of customer service is achieved. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training; planning; scheduling; payroll, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing guest issues and resolving problems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Work directly with the Showroom Hosts & Ushers to ensure the customer transaction and attendance is to the Caesars Entertainment top tier satisfaction and that all show queues are correctly executed
Work directly with Production management to ensure the needs of the production are understood and managed to the best of the company’s abilities
Work directly with Security to ensure that all policies and procedures are correctly executed
Work directly with Box Office to ensure VIP & VVIP guests are handled appropriately, seating reconfigurations are known and managed,
Hold daily pre-shift Buzz sessions with all customer contact employees
Exhibit sound judgement when making decisions that affect the flow of the customers in and out of the venues
Ability and willingness to work any assignment. (Assignments include, but not limited to, checking patrons’ cameras or any recording devices, setup and strike of entrance stanchions, taking and/or scanning tickets, handing out programs, assist showroom hosts escorting patrons to seats, if needed and as directed, assist patrons’ special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs, coordinating backstage tours, selling marketing merchandise, etc.)
Understand and perform duties of assignment.
Monitor physical surroundings in assigned area prior to and throughout show for safety, cleanliness and functionality; notify the Entertainment Manager of concerns.
Respond quickly and courteously to patrons’ needs, questions, comments, or concerns with answers and/or action.
At end of show/event, walk through assigned area retrieving lost items, etc. and turn them in accordingly.
Submit assigned reports as directed
Preparing weekly schedules for Showroom Hosts and Ushers
Responsible for weekly payroll for Showroom Hosts and Ushers
Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of all Showroom Hosts & Ushers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Enjoy working with public.
Ability to provide quality customer service.
Ability to solve problems quickly and courteously.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including ability to maintain composure under stress.
Full-time, flexible shifts, available to work nights and weekends, including holidays.
Prior customer service experience preferred. Experience in a theater/show/event setting is highly desired.
Supervise daily operations of seating guests for performances in all Showroom venues.
Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
Knowledge and understanding of the culinary contact for the showroom ushers
Actively assist with established Front of House emergency procedures. Familiar with location and operation of emergency exits and equipment.
Working directly with and supervising the functions of the customer attendance at assigned venue.
Assist House Manager with procedures for injuries, medical problems, etc.
Assist patrons with ADA / special needs.
Ability to provide accurate knowledge to patrons regarding venue logistics (i.e. location of ticket office, restrooms, phones, concessions, information about the show/event, general building history, etc.)
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to write show reports, scheduling, timeworks (payroll)
Ability to read event ticket (visual acuity corrected to read as small as 11-font print) in dim lighting with use of flashlight.
Ability to repeatedly climb stairs – up and down – to provide effective staff coverage in all areas of venues, as needed.
Ability to lift 75 lbs. items such as stanchions, boxes, chairs, tables etc.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods, sometimes for the entire duration of the show/event.
Education: Bachelor degree preferred; high school diploma.
Experience: Minimum two years of supervisory and/or casino showroom experience.
