Job Description : Job Summary:
Responsible for the check-in and care of all spa guests and spa facilities while offering the highest level of personalized service.
Essential Job Functions
Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
Maintain spa facility by performing necessary housekeeping duties (picking up towels, cups, shower & bathroom area, vanity area and all surrounding areas).
Uphold spa decor by maintaining the set-up and cleanliness of the area.
Give tours and describe the spa facility to all guests entering the facility.
Provide beverage service to all guests by the offer first principles.
Handle guest requests and questions in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.
Ensures guests services are started on time
Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and their benefits with the ability to assist reception with checking clients in and out when needed
Maintain an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle)
Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well-organized work area
Assist in all areas of the spa operation as directed by management
Comfortable around guests in a state of undress.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years customer service experience required
Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm appearance
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
Must be able to lift 25lbs
Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day: including a great deal of walking though out the day
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
