Job Description : Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.
Accessible Space, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Full time Speech and Language Assistant to join our team at our brand new, beautiful, state of the art residential rehab setting – within a successful, growing, long-established organization – with an amazing clinical team!!

Now picture yourself in this role – The Speech and Language Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in the provision of speech/language/cognitive and dysphagia services to Spencer Street clients.
We can’t get around this – to qualify you must have:
Associate’s Degree from an accredited SLA Program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised clinical experience and demonstration of competency in the skills required of a SLA).
Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively relay information along with excellent active listening skills and social perceptiveness.
Knowledge of behavioral strategies, intervention approaches, and functional assessments.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
