Job Description : Position Summary
This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities and will oversee the full lifecycle recruitment companywide. The recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Verify employment applications and examines work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants. Records additional knowledge, skills, abilities, interests, test results, and other data pertinent to selection and referral of applicants.
Essential Functions

Manage the talent acquisition process by implementing and updating all phases of the recruitment process including workflows, question templates, application builder, requisitions, job templates, managing applications, conducting pre-screening interviews, and provide a qualified pool of candidates to hiring managers.
Manage engagement with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create a partnership that ensures a fast and simple hiring process.
Manage vacancies, requisitions, and approve job posts by requesting additional information from hiring manager as needed.
Manage position seat creation with the HR Analyst based on the number of hires requested on the requisition.
Manage and set up workflows to ensure that all departments are set up to submit requisitions and manage applications throughout the hiring process.
Manage the preparation of department specific interview questions and other hiring selection materials (Pre-hire assessments, one-way interviews, etc.).
Manage and maintain the application builder by ensuring application adheres to all employment laws.
Manage the internal applicant process by requesting management approval and verifying minimal requirements.
Manage best practice for all company job advertisements, while engaging social media recruitment sites
Manage employer profiles on recruiting sites (Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.). and provide quarterly reporting (i.e., company reviews).
Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification, recommends the hiring of candidates based on pre-screenings of applicants.
Manage all aspects of onboarding through the ATS by processing background checks, reference checks, and offer letters.
Create new hire profile by sending self-onboarding and candidates through the queue to ensure new hires are properly equipped to start day one.
Manages, tracks, and promotes the employee referral program.
Educates hiring managers on best practices with recruiting, interviewing and retention including providing one-on-one support with reviewing resumes and interviewing questions techniques.
Implements efficient and effective recruiting strategies to meet the needs of the organization.
Manage, update, and complete new hire checklists within the HRIS to ensure all requirements within the onboarding process are completed.
Manage onboarding experience by creating a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere that aligns with the company’s Employer of Choice mantra.
Manage weekly and monthly reporting specific to hiring, onboarding, retention, and pertinent feedback to company leadership.
Manage all exit interview in person meetings while managing communication of interview feedback to company leadership.
Updates and/or creates Standard Operating Procedures for the talent acquisition process.
Lead in industry specific recruiting events, associations, and other relevant networking organizations.
Lead in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings as they may arise.
Partner with any local groups to maximize recruiting efforts specific to Colleges, Universities, Community Groups, Special Interest Groups, and the Chamber of Commerce., etc.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies, specific to recruiting and retention.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

3 years recruitment in the Las Vegas market.
Associates degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Interview and prepare a candidate within an appropriate and consistent timeline; Utilizes interviewing tools that have proven to be effective and lawful and without discrimination.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of current trends in the job market.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, or related software.
Ability to type/keyboard a minimum of 30 wpm with 90% accuracy.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bilingual (English – Spanish)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Has already established key educational opportunities; professional publications; personal networks; participation in professional organizations.
