Reports To:
The Teacher Assistant will report to their Lead Teacher, Program Coordinator, or the Director
Job Overview:
The role or the Teacher Assistant is to help run the daily operations of the classroom. They will oversee activities, assist in planning and executing curriculum, and ensure the health and safety of all the children in their care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Execute daily curriculum activities.
Encourage learning and cooperation with the children.
Plan and prepare future activities.
Upkeep cleanliness of the classroom.
Assist children with restroom use and/or diapering.
Cooperate with their co-teachers in exploring new and creative ways for learning.
Qualifications:
Must be 16 years or older.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Someone at ease with participating in classroom activities (reading stories aloud, singing songs, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour
