Job Description : Title: Training and Development CoordinatorDepartment: Human ResourcesImmediate Supervisor: Human Resources ManagerStatus: ExemptJob Code: 1754Position Purpose: Develop and implement training programs for all employees and work with established programs in our organization to ensure that all employees receive the knowledge and skills to perform their jobs proficiently and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.Principle Accountabilities · Design, support and administer site training and assessment programs and initiatives to support site training needs and proficiency of participants.· Create needs assessments and develops training objectives.· Coordinate and monitor training schedules and certifications through the utilization of a job training matrix.· Track and evaluate employee training and performance progress including refresher and recertification training.· Utilize Company training system to identify, coordinate and deliver retraining for the purpose of correcting or improving operational or quality issues.· Maintain and audit training documents and files to ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory guidelines and ISO policies.· Administer new hire orientation.· Assist the IPS Organizational Development Team with development of element trees, work instructions and certifications.· Assist the Quality Department with management of the change management system and document control assuring currency of process documentation in support of effective training and assessment.· Any other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.Essential Skills and Experience· Bachelor’s degree or professional training certification or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.· Minimum of two years of experience in a training or education role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.· Proven ability to conduct training and proficient with computer systems.
