Are you looking for meaningful and fulfilling employment in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy interacting with seniors in your community? Then the part-time Transportation Specialist position with Lyon County Human Services may be the job for you!
Transportation Specialists transport senior program participants from their homes to meal sites, social program sites, and to conduct personal business; deliver meals to homebound program participants; plan routes to meet time schedules; assist participants, including mobility impaired individuals, into and out of vehicle; load and unload groceries and other items belonging to participants.
The ideal candidate will:
Possess a valid Nevada Driver’s License
Be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Work Monday through Friday, total of 20 hours per week
Typical schedule is 10AM – 2PM, which may vary based on needs
Salary Range*:
$18.3052 – $29.2857 (Employee/Employer Paid Retirement)
$15.8333 – $25.3310 (Employer Paid Retirement)
*Employees is this classification typically start at the beginning of the salary range, with opportunities for salary advancement based on merit.
This is a safety-sensitive position. The selected candidate is required to pass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random drug tests throughout employment.
