As a Traveling Caregiver, you’ll be part of an elite team of associates traveling throughout 6 states, this position will be traveling throughout Nevada to our 3 locations, located in Carson City, Spanish Springs, and Heritage Springs. You’ll be expected to provide support to cover staffing shortages either scheduled or unexpected. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in making a difference in the lives of others.
MUST BE A RESIDENT OF NEVADA
General Overview

We require at least a 6-month commitment (preferably one year)
Assignments can range anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months
Travel and lodging will be provided or compensated by Cascade Living Group for the duration of employment
Starting wage is $22.50/hr (depending on experience it could be higher)
Opportunity to work over-time
Quarterly bonus based on performance

Required Qualifications

2+ years’ experience working with seniors
Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents
Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
The ability to work weekends and a flexible work schedule

Job Duties

Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
Assist residents in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile
Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines
Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day
Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living Group
