Position : Vice President of Manufacturing

Job Description : The Vice President of Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing and directing production operations to secure efficient manufacturing along with meeting customer needs. The individual in this position will manage the manufacturing team while working closely and in collaboration with other Monin departments. The Vice President of Manufacturing will be responsible for implementing processes for efficient and safe manufacturing of new and existing products that support the business and customers’ needs with flexibility, quality, and timely delivery.
Essential Functions:

Defines short-term and long-term action plans to support growth, cost management, and process improvements with good follow up and completion of action plan(s).
Effective Communications at all levels of the team to ensure a clear understanding of what is expected, and all “why” we do what we do.
Inspire and lead team in use of continuous improvement methodologies to attain department metrics.
Lead the manufacturing organization to build a strong culture of employee engagement and involvement
Defines and manages key performance indicators and financial metrics for department, creating a proven track record of results.
Optimize resources, analyze data, and lead problem-solving teams.
Enforce company safety policy – communicating with all manufacturing employees to eliminate possible injuries, promoting a safe work environment for the organization.
Proven ability to develop team members at all levels and succession planning.
Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors, and evaluates performance of employees and contributes towards a safer work culture.
Execute efficient manufacturing of current and future production lines with environmental sustainability maintained or improved.
Monitor quality of the processes and ensure activities are performed to Standard Operating Procedures and SQF requirements.
Participates in strategic planning and deployment of cross functional company objectives
Strong commitment to company mission/values, compliance with standards, product quality and customer service.
Collaborates effectively with other Monin locations and departments.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration preferred
Has a minimum of 10 years leading/managing/ developing others in a production environment with increasing levels of responsibility
5+ years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry is preferred
Strong problem-solving skills with background in executing TPM, World Class Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma with proven results.
Demonstrated experience in both strategic planning and people development
Passion for following and monitoring safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all
Effective in both written and verbal communications
Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in manufacturing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong commitment to company mission/values, compliance with standards, product quality and customer service
Manages stress and works well under pressure with tight deadlines
Strong leadership skills that create respect within the team
Ability to multi-task and manage details to ensure accurate and timely results
