Position : Warehouse Lead
Job Description : Overall Purpose of the Role: We are looking for a candidate to lead a new warehouse operation for our western USA clients. This candidate should consider themselves a self-starter with high degree of independence as they will be our primary point of contact and operational lead in this new facility. This role offers the opportunity to take part in a growing business with the opportunity to take lead on new warehouse project, develop more responsibility and offers have career growth within the role itself.
Key Responsibilities: – Take delivery of goods and supplies- Check for damaged or missing items- Store goods appropriately- Pick and pack orders for dispatch- Construct product with high degree of care for quality- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck- Load goods for dispatch- Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards- Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerized system- Carry out stock weekly stock counts- Keep paperwork up to date- Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency- Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value Self Management- Work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies- Applies experience and logic- Achievement Focused- Consistently manages the task- Is self aware, resilient, optimistic and open to change
Skills and Attributes: – Able to work well as part of a team- Ability to work accurately and methodically- Attentive to communications with basic computer skills- Ability to plan and organize work- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items- An understanding of health and safety requirements- Flexible approach to duties and tasks- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
Qualifications and Experience Levels: – 3-5 Years experience working in warehouse operations or other leadership role.- A fork lift truck license and/or license to drive assisted lift equipment is essential- Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling- Must have: Microsoft Excel, Gmail, and general computer proficiency

Pay: $25.00 per hour
