Position : Warehouse Supervisor (Production & Fulfillment)
Job Description : We are looking for a supervisor that management team can rely on to get the job done efficiently and safely. As a supervisor in a growing company, he or she must also adapt and always seek to improve the process and train employees. He or she must be comfortable in giving direction to the staff and make sure the work is done properly and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
Hire, train, and supervise Production Associates and Fulfilment Associates.
Maintain day-to-day safety and quality, monitor and prioritize workflow and production schedules.
Ensure product is in compliance with customer standards and ensure fulfillment goals.
Define and communicate department goals to the staff and assist the staff in achieving those goals.
Manage behavior issues using critical analysis and corrective action.
Identify areas of improvement within assigned departments and implement changes to processes and procedures as necessary.
Ensure that all equipment is working order. Report equipment failures to maintenance immediately.
Requirements
4 years of experience in production, shipping and/or warehousing required.
2 years of experience in supervisory role of managing at least 5 workers required.
Experience improving processes and procedures.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 – 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
