Pierce Distribution Services Company is a leader in the areas of packaging, distribution, and warehousing. We currently have an opening for an energetic and ambitious sales professional who has integrity. This position will be responsible for the growth and development of the Western Territory. The candidate must be knowledgeable in the area of distribution, logistics, procurement, and warehousing.
Responsibilities:
*Build professional relationships with and sell to agriculture, automotive, aviation, construction, mining, and heavy equipment companies.
*Identify potential business development opportunities which contain the possibility of transforming existing business.
*Secure long-term contracts with ongoing growth potential.
*Maintain sales objectives, offer superior service, develop new customers and grow the business.
*Participate as required with teams to employ strategic sales methods to secure contracts.
*Assist in the preparation of sales support/marketing materials.
*Provide relevant and timely customer and field feedback on new marketing initiatives.
*Visit customers personally in the field to maintain relationships.
This position requires an individual who self-motivated and is creative with high energy. The candidate will possess a successful track record in outside sales and be capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines. Must possess strong negotiation skills and have the ability to manage contractual arrangements. Will be detail orientated, have demonstrate problem-solving ability, and possess strong organizational and implementation skills. The candidate must be proficient with software such as Outlook and Microsoft programs and have experience in presenting in front of large groups. An excellent driving record is a must.
