Position : Administrative Assistant
Job Description : Wasatch Rx is an expanding wholesale pharmaceutical company located in Sandy, Utah. We supply nursing homes, doctor’s offices, hospitals, surgical centers and government agencies with their pharmaceutical needs.
The Administrative Assistant for the sales team performs assigned duties under the direction of Wasatch Rx’s Director of Operations. The Administrative Assistant will contribute to the sales team through helping organize and maintain sales responsibilities. The best candidate for this role will have a business development mindset, strong written and verbal communication skills, and be detail oriented and organized.
· Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week
· Full Time Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00am – 2:30pm M-F)

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Sales Coordination
o Formulate Incoming Sales Listings and Organize Outgoing Offers
o Assist with Sales Profit Tracking and Forecasting
o Coordinate with Wholesale Customers (Phone, Email, Instant Messaging)
o Locate Specialty Pharmaceutical Product as Needed
o Assist Purchasing Department with Online Searches for Product as Needed
· Order & Inventory Management
o Order Discrepancy Resolution
o Reconcile Order Fulfillment and Shipment Status
o Inventory & Returns Management
o Shipping Carrier Claims Management
· Vendor Management – Develop Relationships
o Vendor Partnership Support
o Tracking Details of Group Purchasing Contracts
o Coordinate Shipments of Product
o Assist Vendors with Licensing Process
· Other Duties as Assigned
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of sales experience
· 2 or more years of order management experience
· Ability to analyze/research complex data, effectively communicate conclusions
· Attentive to detail, organized and efficient
· Ability to work independently, with limited direct supervision
· Ability to organize and prioritize varied tasks and follow instructions
· Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Docs
· 10-key by touch, ability to type 60+ wpm.
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills
· High School diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of pharmacy experience
· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time with or without the use of a sit stand desk
Ability to work at a computer station for extended periods of time
Ability to answer phones with or without the use of a headset
· Ability to work on location out of the Sandy, UT Office
