Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR or 1 year of human resources business experience
Coursework toward PHR, SPHR
Job Summary
As an Associate Team Relations Specialist, you will advocate for team members, leaders, and the company as a whole. You will handle team member concerns professionally and personally and collaborate with the Legal team to ensure compliance and mitigation of business risks. You will also analyze metric reports and data to provide recommendations and work closely with leadership to guide them through complex human resource situations.
Responsibilities
Assist with conducting the orientation program, coordinating community relations volunteer events, and planning Fun Committee activities
Assist with all behind-the-scenes administrative tasks in support of the team relations specialists
Conduct exit interviews and identify trends with the Team Relations Specialist and/or leadership
Manage written and verbal disciplinary actions, including uploading various performance documents into the appropriate databases (e.g., HR OnBase, GRACIE), provide technical support and follow up with leadership as needed
Draft written disciplinary action requests (e.g., opportunity letters, separation requests, separation letters)
Provide support and/or help facilitate team member engagement meetings (e.g., town halls, stay interviews, the Outlet Survey) and provide accurate and detailed notes
Answer team member questions on behalf of absent or unavailable team relations specialists as well as cover out-of-office contact duties
Manage the team relations specialists’ tracking mailbox
