Position : Banking Operations Specialist
Job Description : Location: Salt Lake City, UT – WFH until January 2023
Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: $16.50 to $21.00/hour, depending on experience.
Bonus: $500 after 3 months of employment & $500 more after 6 months of employment = $1,000 bonus (Must start work before April 30, 2022)
The experience you need to succeed:
One to three years similar or related experience.
A High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel ad mathematical skills.
Be a team player, self-starter/independent worker and have strong organizational skills.
What you’ll do:
Quality Assurance – Review New Account, Change of Ownership, Account Modifications and scanning to confirm policy and procedures were followed.
BSA Processing – Process Currency Transaction and Negotiable Instrument reporting.
Research – Subpoenas, branch research, and member research
IRA Processing – Review IRA documents, transactions for accuracy, RMD processing and process year end and tax reporting.
Cash Ordering – Work with the armored carrier for branch cash order and the FED for the main vault cash orders.
Branch Cash Balancing – Work closing with branch teams regarding their cash balancing.

The person in this position will be responsible for back office operations such as: perform quality assurance on new account, account modifications and change of ownerships. They will be over the IRAs, Fed & Cashman Cash orders, Branch Cash Worksheets, Buy/Sell and Transfer Clearing outages, Foreign Item and Physical Check Processing, Deceased Member Document Reviews, Legal Document Reviews, Counterfeit Notes, Account Number Changes, CTRs, NILs, Image Scanning Processes, Courier Duties, IRS TIN/SSN Name Matching, W-8Ben Compliance, and will work closely with and support branch team members with operational procedures.
