Job Description : A Cashier/Stocker provides prompt, courteous customer assistance or calls for assistance.Greets and serves customers; helps unload customers cart (if necessary) scans & weighs merchandise, accurately processes the order, accurately receives payment, gives receipt, counts back change, bags/boxes purchases, loads and carry out purchases, retrieve carts.A Cashier/Stocker provides safe, efficient labor by unloading, storing and stocking mdse and supplies by lifting and carrying or by operating pallet jacks or fork lifts (only qualified employees operate fork lift).Cases of mdse are opened using case cutters. Merchandise is filled and faced on shelves and displays. Boxes are removed from shelves into the box bin or cardboard baler (only qualified employees operate baler).
