Position : Construction Specialist (Fiber/Telecom)
Job Description : CEI’s Fortune 50 Client in Media and Telecommunications is adding a Construction Specialist to their team! This team is looking for someone with a strong Fiber/Cable background and construction experience.
Long-Term contract with potential for permanent conversion
It is expected that this candidate is in the field 90% of the time
Responsibilities:
Oversee construction: placing hard-line cables, frame and strand poles, transfer facilities between poles, place cable in joint trench, and safe operation of construction vehicles and cable trailers.
Investigate and monitor accurate record keeping concerning project start, milestone dates, production logs, material costs, and labor expenditures.
Conduct work site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and participates in regular safety meetings with the crews
Responsible for ensuring all work performed on the project meets or exceeds Local, State or Federal standards and regulations.
Required Skills:
Fiber/Cabling background
Previous construction experience
Consistent, reliable transportation

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
