Job Description : Drafter
Job Summary: Drafter/Designer will create cabinet and millwork shop drawings from architectural blueprints. Ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of custom cabinet manufacturing and design. Routinely interact with project managers, estimator, purchasing, installers and shop personnel in preparation cabinet manufacturing and installation
Job Description

Read and interpret architectural drawings.
Accurately and efficiently translate rough measures into working designs
Design cabinetry/fixture layouts.
Create detailed shop drawings using Cabinet Vision and/or AutoCAD.
Prepare files for CNC programming.
Create estimates, jobs and take-offs in project management software.
Work closely and professional with management, shop and administrative team member.

Required Skills

Minimum of 2 years of cabinet drafting experience required.
Advanced knowledge of Cabinet Vision and/or Auto Cad.
Thorough knowledge of cabinet layout, millwork fabrication methods and materials.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and computer skills.
Must be detail-oriented, well organized, a team player, and able to prioritize duties to meet assigned deadlines.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Possess resourcefulness and ability to track down information quickly and accurately.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
