Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Transportation Coordinator. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program
What You’ll Get To Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

DO-178C workflow and design criteria to include configuration management processes and design peer reviews.
Developing embedded real-time safety-critical software for Command & Control systems using processes that employ DO-178C guidance and criteria.
Develop safety-critical software on custom hardware
Development and execution of requirements based testing, including structural coverage testing to achieve DO-178C objectives
Develop and review full set of DO-178C templates and checklists
Provide design guidance as prescribed by MIL-STD-882 and DO-178C
Generate and provide DO-178C Safety Design artifacts

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance and Special Program Access as needed (NOT REQUIRED TO START)
Must have Transportation Experience
Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (explicitly state it in the REQ)
Any other certs required for the individual to hit the ground running
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Active DOD clearance with a refresh/reinvestigation within the last 5 years. Transportation Billing and Invoice experience.
Experience handling domestic, international freight and small parcel shipments.
Familiar with Ryder payment system or other Transportation payment systems.
Prefer Hazmat/Explosive certification with CDL.

Salary Range: $43,200 USD – $72,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
